It works for me because I don’t normally get hungry until 11/12pm. I don’t like to eat a big breakfast and with me having a somewhat weak appetite I like the fact that my first meal BANGS because I’m so looking forward to eating. A lot of folks on-line have raved at the weight loss benefits but that was my original intent.

I struggle with fasting in general and I was thinking about different ways I could trick my body more so mind into my goal of doing 3,5,7 day plus raw juice fasts. When intermittent fasting came up on the g-search (googlz) I remembered how it worked but refreshing myself to the benefits and the healing that happens at the cellular level I said let me give it a go. The biggest adjustment would be the nighttime window of having your last meal 7-9pm in order to be able to eat around noon the next day.

This fasting technique gave me extra motivation as I’ve been trying to reduce eating late or only having a smoothie or oatmeal if its after 8pm bc we all know eating late stinks and it impacts my sleep which is my non-negotiable at this stage in my life.

One last thing I liked is I can still enjoy my morning teas and TCM (Traditional Chinese Mushroom) beverages just without my non-dairy milk/maple syrup as normal.
